A view from the Pont de la Concorde in Paris, looking up the Seine towards the Ile de la Cité and Notre-Dame. The other bridges are the Pont de Solférino and the Pont Royal.

According to Jean and Henry Dauberville, Bonnard reworked the figures in March 1915, in particular the old lady. (Tate)
