Portrait of Manet‘s student Eva Gonzalès, profile to the right. The profile of the woman’s head is shown in just a few lines. This print with an annotation by collector Burty is specifically mentioned by Guérin 1944, no. 57. According to the author, the print was part of the Burty collection and was later in the collection of Edgar Degas. (RIJKS)
